04. October 2008

At the last weekend in September each year, the international show society met in Aachen for the famous 'All Nations Cup' Show.
ASH competed with three horses, and we are very happy about the result in this prestigeous and major international show.
In the tuff class of Yearling Fillies, ASH Donatella entered the ring in the second group moving as usual in her exciting action and accompanied by a big applause from the public. She lined up in the awarding as third in her class. ASH Dream of Glory was placed 5th in the "Two-Year-old Colts". And our senior stallion DIPLOMATT had the pleasure to compete in the ridden class with our resident trainer, Sabrina Joiser, and they together became 5th - a wonderful success for us!

ASH Dream of Glory, ended up third in his class, also tie in points to the 2nd, that was also to pride for us as breeders, his earlier stablemate, two-year-old ASH Antares (Ekstern x La Diva), sold to Al Khaled Farm, Sheikh Khaled Bagido last year. And to our great pleasure, our Dahlia (CH El Brillo x Dahma) finally showed this time her potentials in self confident way, and won in 3-year-old Fillies!

The annual 'Elran Cup' in Belgium had a new loaction in 2008, a lovely place in Hasselt, which is about 20 km next to the former place Borgloon. Rated again as ECAHO A-show, the international audience and show community met during 16./17. August to see some high quality horses and a nice show in Hasselt.
For Arabian Sun Horses, it became a very exciting weekend, our two youngsters and homebred horses winning the class each:
first it was our yearling filly ASH Donatella, who moved into the ring like a Ferrari, full of power and speed, and posed thenafter like a longterm show profi to be judged in high scores to be the class winner. Some minutes later, our two-year-old ASH Dream of Glory, came in, again moving in his best, and achieving the first place in his class. Both are by WH Justice tracing back in tail female line to our foundation mare NA Divina. The Elran Cup 2008 made us happy as show participants, but also proud as breeders.

At the 'Arabesque' Baden-Baden International Festival,
held at the famous racetrack in Iffezheim during the last weekend in July, there had been offered the so-named 'Egyptian Cup' for straight Egyptian horses, and an International ECAHO B-rated show, in which we had two of our homebred horses competing: the yearling filly ASH DONATELLA (WH Justice x Dahma), and the three-year-old colt HAROUN (El Amin x Hanina).

Both youngsters gave a very good presentation, showing their excellent powerful movement, and both succeeded in a top ranking of their individual class: ASH DONATELLA became third in the huge class of Yearling Fillies, and HAROUN participated as second of his class in the final championship competition.

21. July 2008

The show season continues! And until, it was really lovely to see and experience the 2008 records of our homebred youngsters competing this year. After the several success in the last few weeks in the national and international C- and B-rated ECAHO shows, we decided to send our two-year-old colt ASH DREAM OF GLORY to the International A-rated show in Vilhelmsborg, Denmark, held on 19th and 20th of July. And he really made us happy, returning in success as 'Top Five' overall Colt of this high class show. Now we are looking foward and are really curious to seehow the rest of the year and shows in 2008 will go ahead.

30. May 2007

Congratulations to Al Khaled Farm/ Sheikh Khaled Ahmed Bagedo, from Egypt, for his purchase of our young superstar, the most promising yearling colt, ASH Antares. He was special since born! Out of our La Diva, and by Triple Crown Winner, Ekstern, he is a younger full brother to Donna Diva. ASH Antares was based from us at the Schoukens Training Center to be trained for the Frankfurt 2007 International Show end of May, when Sheikh Bagedo saw him. He was fascinated by this yearling boy, asked for the price, and purchased him! ASH Antares was entered by ASH to the Frankfurt show, but competed there already for Al Khaled Farm. It was not easy to let this colt go, but he will have a great future with Al Khaled Farm, and we wish them all the best.

From 2004 up to the 2006 breeding season, we leased  some of our valuable broodmares to breeders from Germany, Italy, and Great Britain. The foals have already been born, and we are happy that our clients are very satisfied with their results and decision to  choose our mares and bloodlines. We are now looking forward to  the next foals born for our clients in 2006 and 2007.

Following her success at the 2004 European Championships, Haniyyah and the Jones family received an invitation to the 2005 DIAHC (Dubai Int'l Arabian Horse Championships) in March 2005!
For the breeder, Ingrid Bentchikou, and for the owners, the Jones family, this was an exciting experience! Flying from Belgium and Great Britain toward east and Dubai, from cold winter temperatures and snow to beautiful and most convenient summer temperatures in the United Arab Emirates in March, and to see their 3-year-old filly Haniyyah competing in the Emirates. Only for this experience it would have been worth to make all efforts. But "Whow", the filly and Rhodri made us a very special moment attending: Haniyyah became named "Champion Filly reserve" again! And the "dream" was not over - as the Jones', her owners, got another special "trophy" and award for this success: a brandnew car!!!! A real fairy tale ....!

______________________________________________________________________________________

Great success  has been achieved our 2002 born filly Haniyyah (Psytadel x Hanina) at the European Championships in 2004: she became named "European Champion Filly reserve"!
Haniyyah is bred by "Arabian Sun Horses". In 2002, as a baby, she  was sold to the Jones Family, from Wales, United Kingdom. Rhodri Jones has shown her since, and he is always able to present this filly allowing her to display her greatest asset, her fantastic trot!

______________________________________________________________________________________

The "Arabian Futurity Europe" Auction was held and started up in 2003, and the bids on the first collection of stallions and breedings  was done.

For his owner, Mr. Leonhard Becker, from Germany, who had leased our mare La Diva to breeding, the weanling colt BK Joel (Psytadel x La Diva) succeeded as second placed colt. Congratulations!
